South Carolina gets a taste of “Healthy Kids in the Bon Appétit Kitchen”

As a South Carolina native, Hannah Schmunk (our Manager of Food Education for Children) was thrilled to join forces with our Furman University and Milliken culinary teams to host three Healthy Kids in the Bon Appétit Kitchen classes.  Our chefs, Fellow Peter Todaro, and Hannah led children from the Boys & Girls Club of Greenville chapter and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate in two hours of hands-on learning and fun. Hannah also had the chance to go on Your Carolina, where she led hosts Jack Roper and Jamarcus Gaston through a taste-test of star fruit and fennel. Check out the TV appearance here!
