Kids practice safe knife skills to chop a rainbow of vegetables and roll up in a seaweed wrap.
Ingredients
Brown rice (a healthier alternative to white rice)
Seaweed wrap (½ sheet per hand roll)
Warm water (to seal wrap)
Choice of colorful vegetables like:
Bell peppers
Carrots
Mango
Cucumbers
Avocado
Purple Cabbage
Toppings
Soy sauce, cilantro, and pickled ginger
Instructions
1. Prepare brown rice
2. Chop vegetables into thin, long strips
3. Moisten hands with warm water and spread small ball of rice on one side of seaweed, add prepped vegetables to the middle of the rice and roll up like a burrito
4. Seal the hand roll with warm water and place sealed side down
5. Enjoy with toppings
